From ancient history and fascinating landscapes, to magical cities and delicious food, experience the many facets to captivating Turkey on an in-depth journey from Istanbul to Gallipoli, via Cappadocia, Kaş and Ephesus.

A Feast for the Senses
Turkey is a feast for the senses and we start our tour in Istanbul. Here we visit the magnificent Hagia Sophia, the famous Hippodrome, the iconic Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace, once home to the great sultans.

Fairy Chimney Formations
Our journey heads towards the famous Cappadocia region. Prepare to be amazed by the strange rock formations that form a surreal, lunar-like landscape of ‘fairy chimneys’. Seeing is believing!

Ancient Wonders
We now take in some of the ancient wonders of Turkey. We explore the incredible landscape at Pamukkale, where nature has created a wonderful array of pools in the limestone cliff, before visiting the ancient cities of Pergamum and Ephesus. In Ephesus we walk down marble-covered streets, lined with ancient Roman bathhouses, gymnasiums and the Temple of Artemis. Our tour then continues to Gallipoli, where we pay homage to the legend of the ANZACs, before returning to Istanbul, with more time to enjoy this wonderful city.

Also, in some cities tourist transport has limited options for coach drop offs and pickups and this may mean that travellers are required to walk some distance to reach attractions or hotels, even up to 15 minutes. Some touring may not be suitable for travellers with mobility issues and/or low fitness levels.  If unsure about your suitability for the trip please contact us to seek further advice.

YOUR FITNESS
A minimum level of fitness is required to be able to participate. You are required to at least:

  • Carry your own luggage

While we will still confirm your place on your tour, flight tickets cannot be issued until both completed forms have been received. Additional costs may be incurred if completed forms are not received by Bunnik Tours within these time frames.

Bunnik Tours generally does not accept bookings for single travellers 80 years of age and over without a travelling companion. Neither our Tour Director nor your fellow travellers are equipped to act as a carer.
