HOW TO START SELLING OUR TOURS

Complete our Agent Registration Form or email us agents @ encountertravel.com.au  with your name, agency name and contact telephone number and we'll send you an overview of working with us.

HOW TO BOOK

All quotes issued to agents have an option for 72 hours (given that we are not within final monies).  If it’s the last place on a tour it’s a 24 hour option only.

ONLINE

#1 Agents can request a quote using our online booking form. Each holiday has a booking form on our website.

#2 Find list of tours here: SOLOS ONLY 

#3 Enter your customer’s details and at the end of the form in the COMMENTS box advise you are an agent and your contact details. Once you are a registered agent we will attach your customer to your agent record with us.

KEY BOOKING STEPS 

  • To request a quote we require the traveller’s name as per their passport, email adddress and date of birth.
  • All quotes are issued with booking terms and conditions to provide to your client.
  • Clients are required to complete a Booking Form – it is an editable online form but the final step is that it requires your client’s signature; either a digital signature or printed, then signed.
  • Passenger of 70 years &over (travel pace 2 or more) or 75 years or more (travel pace 3 or more) may require completion of Fit To Travel Form by their G.P for general touring
  • For active tours e.g a walking trip travellers 65 years and over are required to return a Fit To Travel form completed by their doctor.

 

COMMISSION & PAYMENTS

  • We offer travel agents commission on all our SOLOS ONLY tours, and resort packages.

  • All invoices are issued as net payment requests for ATIA accredited agencies - no waiting for commission payments.

  • Statements for progress and/or final monies are issued around 7-10 days prior to final money due date.


DOCUMENTS

  • Documents are issued (mostly by post) around 2-3 weeks prior to departure, and posted to the agent. We also issue documents via Travefy in order that customers have the option of eDOCS.

ADVICE ABOUT 'FIT TO TRAVEL'


If a customer is not sure of their fitness suitability for a trip we recommend not booking their trip until they have a completed form or at least talk with our team. This is because for some trips monies paid cannot be refunded if subsequently they are deemed not Fit To Travel by their doctor.
