Located in Frankfurt, Germany, Frankfurt Airport is a major international airport that is run by transport company Fraport. This airport is the third busiest airport in Europe, and the busiest airport in Germany. The airport is the main hub for Germany’s flag-carrier Lufthansa as well as Condor Flugdienst.
Due to the fact that this airport is located in Germany’s second-largest metropolitan area, it serves as an important transportation hub for a quite expansive region. From the airport it will take you less than two hours to get to Cologne, the Ruhr Area and Stuttgart travelling over ground.
The Frankfurt Airport taxi service is a reliable way of getting from the airport to the Frankfurt city center and indeed to any other area that one needs to get to. These taxis are readily available at the taxi ranks which are found outside both Terminal One and Two. The journey to the city ought to take 15 minutes ideally (but this depends on the conditions) and it costs approximately 25 Euros. The stretch of road is about 8 miles long.
