DAY 1
Arrive to Paradise, Fiji

Welcome to Fiji!.  An airport to resort transfer is included as part of your package*.
It’s about a 60 minute drive between Nadi airport and our resort hotel.

The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Early evening, we meet for cocktails and canapes for the adults only cocktail reception.  Dinner will follow at the resort’s fine dining resort, Golden Cowrie Restaurant.

DAY 2
Resort Living Begins

There is no set time to start your day. Settle into the relaxed rhythm of resort life and make the most of the adults-only breakfast at the Golden Cowrie Restaurant. This becomes a daily favourite and you will always find a friendly face to join you, even when you wander down at your own pace. Enjoy the atmosphere and the easy start to the day.

Adults Only Reef Wing Cocktail and Canapés
5PM – 6PM

This evening we enjoy a relaxed group dinner at the main restaurant buffet. There is entertainment available with the resort band performing. After dinner, you are welcome to gather at the Black Marlin Bar where the in-house band keeps the night going.

DAY 3
Sunday, an Easy Day in Paradise 

Sunday is made for slowing down. Enjoy another gentle start with breakfast at Golden Cowrie and take the day as it comes. Make the most of the resort facilities, take a swim or find a quiet corner in the adults-only precinct. It is the perfect day to book a massage at Chi Spa 

Tonight we dine at Takali, the resort’s Asian-inspired restaurant. Takali offers fresh flavours with a relaxed ambience and beautiful views over the water.

After dinner, feel free to join the group at the Black Marlin Bar where the in-house band performs.

Monday, and Ecotrax Option

Today is a great day to join Ecotrax, a popular optional excursion. If you have not looked into it yet, check the optional extras information. It is an easy outing located close to the resort and gives you a chance to explore beyond the resort.

DINNER & SHOW
This evening we come together earlier for the Sacred Flame Show with dinner included. It is a wonderful evening of entertainment and one of the resort’s signature experiences.

After dinner, those who would like to keep the night going can join the group at the Black Marlin Bar where the in-house DJ plays.

DAY 5
A Lovely Tuesday on the Island

Take the morning at your own pace and continue enjoying everything the resort offers. Swim, read, wander or simply unwind by the adults-only pool. If you are feeling a bit playful, buddy up with some of your new resort friends and have a go at the resort’s mini-golf. It is an easy, light-hearted way to start the day and always good for a few laughs.

Tonight we make the most of waterside dining at Beach Bar and Grill, a favourite for its relaxed atmosphere right by the beach. After dinner, you are welcome to meet at the Black Marlin Bar where the in-house DJ is playing.

DAY 6
Wednesday, Our Final Night Together 

The week always goes too quickly. Enjoy your final full day in Fiji in any way you like. This evening we come together for a private beach BBQ dinner, a lovely way to wrap up the week and enjoy our last evening as a group.

Consider the hotel check in time on arrival and the hotel check out time on departure.

Check out: by 11am (late check out will accrue an additional charge)

Late check out can be requested but without payment cannot be guaranteed.

TRANSFERS
The transfer time between Nadi Airport to the resort is approximately 60 minutes.  On arrival, collect your luggage and then pass customs/passport control and enter the arrivals hall of the airport.  Details of the transfer service are issued with travel documents.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

Airport Transfers are included on arrival and departure given that;

  • you arrive on day 1 and/or depart on the final day of the tour
    or
  • you have extended your stay and you have booked the pre or post group hotel with us as part of your package.

Flight Itinerary

  • If you are booking your own flights (and not through us), we require your complete flight itinerary at least 45 days prior to departure, even if you are not booking a transfer with us.
  • Where transfers are included in your arrangements, failure to provide your flight details within the required timeframe may result in forfeiture of the transfer or incur additional charges.

VISAS
You must hold a valid passport with a minimum of six 6 months validity from your return date to your home country.  Australian and New Zealand passport holders do not require a visa to enter Fiji.

FELLOW TRAVELLERS 
You will enjoy this resort group experience with a maximum 60 solo travellers.
This resort experience is exclusively for solo travellers. It’s regular that resort groups can range from 14 to 55 travellers. It’s more common that the group size is between 22 – 36 people.

THE PACE  [1 out of 5]
The itinerary for this package is leisurely. There are many options to add in activities including sporting activities like golf to your stay or experiences outside of the resort such at EcoTrax and Sigatoka River safari (see FREE TIME Extras info for details)

Any request for special room arrangements such as a disabled room cannot be guaranteed and is on a request basis only.

Fit to Travel Holiday Requirements
Some activities may not be suitable for travellers with mobility issues and/or low fitness levels.  If unsure about your suitability for the trip please contact us to seek further advice.  For the River Safari and EcoTrax experiences, if you have below average fitness please check with our Travel Team about suitability for joining the excursions.

When you book your holiday with us you are required to answer some fitness questions. There may be requirements to have your doctor complete a Fit To Travel form based on your answers.

ABOUT THE MEALS   
It’s regular that our trips include welcome dinners and farewell dinners for our groups. In addition, we include other group dining experiences to ensure that everyone can enjoy the benefit of travelling and dining as a group.  There’s nothing better than to share a meal with new friends and discuss the day’s adventures.

This itinerary includes 5 dinners of high quality,  including fine dining, and a dinner with a Fijian show.   

GROUP COORDINATOR
This is a private group resort experience with a Group Coordinator. Your group coordinator is there to assist with group arrangements and to act as the liaison for all services.  The group coordinator services will commence from 5pm on day 1 until 11am on the final day.  Please note, they are not a tour guide.

TRANSPORT
Arrival and departure transfers are arranged as part of your group package given that you are transferring between The Shangri La’s Resort and Spa and you have arranged all your nights of stay with us as part of your package.

There is a sailing/cruise day out on the water and it includes an island stop.

LUGGAGE INFORMATION AND RESTRICTIONS
Porterage of your main luggage is included at the hotel on arrival and departure.
