Solos Only

Tasmania Solo Travel Tour of the East

A relaxed journey along Tasmania’s stunning east coast, this four night discovery travels from Launceston to Hobart, showcasing beautiful coastal landscapes, local flavours and signature experiences.

Arriving into Launceston, we travel toward the north-east with a classic country pub lunch before reaching the spectacular Bay of Fires. With its white sands, turquoise waters and striking orange rocks, this is one of Tasmania’s most memorable coastal settings. There is time to wander at an easy pace and take in the scenery before continuing to St Helens for our overnight stay.

From here we follow the coastline south, stopping in Bicheno for a local whisky tasting before continuing to Freycinet. A highlight along the way is a relaxed oyster and seafood experience, a true taste of Tasmania’s east coast. We then settle in for a two night stay at Freycinet Lodge.

During our stay, enjoy a Wineglass Bay cruise, showcasing the dramatic coastline and the iconic beauty of Wineglass Bay. There is also time to relax, enjoy the lodge or take in gentle walks.

We complete our journey travelling south to Hobart, with scenic stops along the way and a relaxed lunch before arriving for our final night.

'What a great way to experience a beautiful part of the world, some of the east side of Tasmania. The Tamar Valley, Cataract Gorge, Wineglass Bay. You don’t have to see it on your own either. You can enjoy it other likeminded people. At the same you can make lifelong friends. Also, and most importantly you are improving yourself!'

'Tassie's East was great as a short break. Although only a few days in duration, the itinerary was very full. Tasmania is such a wonderful destination and it was made all the better by the company of my fellow travellers.'
