In 2006, I started Encounter Travel after noticing something many solo travellers were quietly feeling. They wanted to see the world, but not necessarily on their own.
That’s where our ‘Solos Only’ approach began, small group travel designed so you can go independently, without being alone.
Twenty years on, it’s grown into a special community. I love seeing the friendships that form, where you travel again together, stay connected, and find your place in a group where you belong.
