BLUE MT TOUR- SCENIC WORLD AND ECHO POINT
INCLUDED IN FARE
The Blue Mountains, a favourite getaway destination, is a World Heritage listed area. From Mount Victoria you’ll head to Scenic World for four amazing mountain experiences. The Scenic Skyway takes you 270 metres above ancient ravines that pass beneath the glass cabin floor for an amazing bird’s eye view. Your vista is 360 degrees and takes in the famous Three Sisters, the Jamison Valley and Katoomba Falls. Savour the incredible views from the Scenic Cableway as you descend more than 500 metres to the valley floor where you can stroll through Jurassic Age rainforest on the elevated Scenic Walkway. The steepest passenger railway in the world (52-degree incline), the Scenic Railway, with its glass-roofed carriages, is one of the most popular attractions of the mountains and a must-do.
Next, travel to the Echo Point Lookout perched on the edge of the escarpment in Katoomba to enjoy a light lunch, where perennial favourites are paired with award-winning wine and beer to complement those amazing views. Following the same rail line as the Indian Pacific, join a private charter service to complete your journey to Sydney’s Central Station.
Recommended Fitness Level: Moderate – short walks and climbing stairs required. Wheelchair access available.

After a relaxing afternoon onboard, enjoy a three-course dinner prior to your late evening arrival in the wild west township of Kalgoorlie.

Waiting ahead is the charm of the once-thriving Nullarbor railway community – now ghost town – of Cook. Sit back and relax as the train continues its trek across the longest single stretch of railway in the world.
