Thessaloniki International Airport "Macedonia", formerly known as Mikra Airport, is located 7 nautical miles (13 km; 8.1 mi) south[4] of the White Tower of Thessaloniki in Greece at Thermi.

The airport is the third-largest airport in the country after Athens International Airport and Heraklion International Airport.It is the main airport of Northern Greece and serves the city of Thessaloniki (the second-largest city in Greece), the popular tourist destination of Chalkidiki and the surrounding cities of the region.

Athens Airport

Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos, commonly initialised as AIA, is the largest international airport in Greece, serving the city of Athens and the region of Attica. It began operation on 28 March 2001 (in time for the 2004 Summer Olympics) and is the main base of Aegean Airlines, as well as other smaller Greek airlines. It is located near the old Ellinikon International Airport. Athens International is currently a member of Group 1 of Airports Council International (over 25 million) as of 2019, it is the 26th-busiest airport in Europe.
