A fantastic guide and great driver, beautiful hotels with some of the most delicious food and wine you could ask for all presented in a safe well organised and friendly atmosphere.... Not to mention the amazing places, people and history of Italy... Breathtaking! There were 20 wonderful people that I shared this amazing experience with and I can't wait for the next one .'

'What an amazing trip to Italy. If you had told me that 15 complete strangers could be thrown together in a foreign country and all hit it off so easily I would never have believed it. It was nice to have 2 or 3 nights in each stop and not be moving on each day. From the history of Rome, to the stunning Amalfi coast, picturesque Venice, lunch under the Tuscan sun, vinegar tasting in Modena and relaxing at Lake Maggiore......every day was pure joy. I had looked at this trip for a couple of years before taking the plunge and booking it. A trip to remember for years to come and I have also made some fantastic new life long friends.'

'I would definitely recommend Encounter Travel - I went on the Italian Splendour May 2017 tour (22 days). I loved every minute of this adventure. Our italian guide and driver enabled us to easily immerse into the fabulous culture and lifestyle of Italy. Having a small group of 15 allowed us easy access to everything (less waiting times) and we soon became friends while exploring the magical cities of Italy. I felt safe and totally pampered the entire time! The hotels we stayed in and the restaurants we dined at were first class. I left my heart in Italy.'
