NEW TOUR!

OVERVIEW

Solos Only

SOLO TRAVEL TOUR WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Starting out in Fremantle, just 30 minutes from Perth enjoy the relaxed vibe of this port city, a guided tour of Fremantle Prison and an overnight stay, before heading off on your South West discovery.

Features Spring Wildflower Season

Our first stop is Busselton, with time for the ‘must-do’ stroll along the famous Busselton Jetty before we take the easy drive to Margaret River. On our way, experience a unique visit to beautiful Ngilgi Cave. We have two nights to soak up the atmosphere of the pretty Margaret River pretty winery region along with an outstanding winery lunch, wine tastings, a distillery visit and more.

From Margaret River we travel via Boranup Karri Forest for a scenic drive to see the Karri trees and of course the wildflowers that the west is renowned for each Spring. There’s also a guided tour of Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia before we end our day in Pemberton.

As we set off from Pemberton to Albany we join a wilderness eco cruise into the beautiful waterways of the Walpole Wilderness. Then from the water to the heights of the tree tops with a visit to the Valley of the Giants before arriving to Albany for a ralaxed two night stay. Albany is steeped in history and tales as the first spot where European settlers set foot in Western Australia. A visit to the whaling station museum and the National ANZAC Centre are just some of the ways to uncover her diverse past.

As our circle trip of the south west is nearing the end, we take the drive from Albany to Perth with some stops along the way including a delightful visit of Kodja Place before arriving to Perth for the final night stay.

REVIEWS

'I would highly recommend a holiday with Encounter Travel. My trip was well organised and the co-ordinator was fun and helpful and full of energy. I met some great people of all walks of life. There is a good mix of organised activities and free time. I had a blast.'

'Thank you for your organisation of a great holiday. As a first time traveller with Encounter, I didn't know what to expect. The Red Centre is indescribably beautiful and should be on every Australians' bucket list. We saw every sensational attraction in just the right order - each new experience was more incredible than the last. Thank you for recruiting such a great group of people for my travelling companions. The hotels were clean and very comfortable and it was a pleasure to be transported across such an amazing landscape so comfortably. I learnt so much about our wonderful country and wished I had done such a trip years earlier.'
