THE BIG HIGHLIGHTS

Last night we had our Canadian Rockies and Alaskan Cruise Information night, held in Sydney. As our solo travellers join us from all over Australia and Sydney may not be your home town, we’ve put together the highlights of the evening.

You may already know we have solo traveller social events in Sydney and from time to time in Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Guest. However, last night was the first time we moved from online to offline to present one of our annual favourites. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to meet our travellers face to face.

We kicked started the event with a little bit of ‘getting to know us’ information including our exclusive focus on small group solo travel. And, perhaps a little known fact that we’re more than just a travel agent; with our membership of The Council of Australian Tour Operators, otherwise known as CATO.

Thanks goes to our guest speakers, Jessica Jones from Royal Caribbean International and Ryan O’Connell from Rocky Mountaineer. They shared insights about Alaskan cruising and the ultimate Rocky Mountaineer experience on Gold Leaf class.

Gold Leaf Highlights

A GoldLeaf Service journey includes:

  • Full dome windows that give unparalleled 360-degree views from your seat in the upper-level of our custom-designed bi-level dome coach.
  • Hot gourmet breakfasts and lunches, served in the lower-level dining room of your dome coach, with tempting snacks throughout the journey.
  • An exclusive outdoor vestibule in the lower-level of your dome coach.
  • Complimentary beverages, including wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Complimentary transfers and baggage delivery to your overnight hotel accommodations.

The Inside Passage, Radiance of the Seas

Radiance class are known as the “ships of light” perfect for experiencing the beauty of Alaska on Radiance of the Seas.

Your package with us includes a unique small boat whale watching experience at the port of Icy Strait. Plus, take advantage of the multitude of shore excursions when you dock in Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway.

After your scenic cruise, the ship arrives to Seward, the group is met by our ground operator from Anchorage, and you'll transfer from the port of Seward to Anchorage, Alaska for our final night of stay.

TOP ALASKAN CRUISE HIGHLIGHTS
Narrowing down the highlights for the Alaskan cruise, for me it has to be the Hubbard Glacier, and my top recommendation for cruise shore excursions is to be sure to book yourself a float plane ride at one of the port stops.  You can also, take a read of my other blog about cruising the inside passage for more Alaskan cruise insights.

LAST DAYS OF THE BIG SAVINGS

It was a timely event with our special offer Early Payment Discount coming to an end 28 February 2018, with savings up to $709 per person.

We announced to the group and will share with you that this year the response to this trip has been the biggest ever and we’re forecasting a sold out tour & cruise very soon.  At the time of publishing our events highlight today, there’s just 7 spots left.
